Technical Support Lead

As a result of ongoing growth in our business, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Support Lead to join our team in Sudbury, ON.

 

The role:

  • Work with our highly specialized mining software products daily across multiple customers, sites, mine types and operations
  • Prioritize and deal with all incoming technical customer queries via phone, email and client portal
  • Assist in the support for other global regions when needed
  • Investigate and manage the resolution of software issues and liaise directly with software team where appropriate
  • Answer customer questions and assign queries to consulting team where necessary
  • Deal with licensing issues and questions and work directly with the licensing team

What you need to succeed:

  • Degree in Mining Engineering and/or Geology
  • Experience with Deswik software an advantage
  • Relevant industry experience with CAD, scheduling or similar mining software
  • Ability to maintain ownership of support requests
  • Ability to calmly manage major incidents/issues and know when to escalate
  • A passion for the mining industry and a desire to learn our mining software
  • Fanatical customer service focus
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
